Detailed comparisons
- Heatlens vs Microsoft Clarity: self-hosted heatmaps or a free cloud service.
- Heatlens vs Hotjar: self-hosted heatmaps or a cloud subscription.
- Heatlens vs Matomo Heatmap & Session Recording: two Matomo plugins, two pricing models.
Heatlens does not record sessions. If you need session replay, the tools above offer it. If you need heatmaps that stay on your server, with no third party and no subscription, Heatlens was built for that.
